And so my week off draws to a close...
I designated yesterday my 'lazy day' - the one day in my week off where I didn't do any jobs or have anything planned. The thing is, I've learned that making the Friday of my week off a 'lazy day' never really works. It's as if I need to sandwich that day between 'non-lazy days' to feel the benefit. And so it proved yesterday. Although it felt like a long day it somehow hurtled by too fast. It's the weirdest thing - it's almost as if the rest of the week didn't happen; I feel slightly disgruntled and unsettled, even though I've had a great week and, on the whole, feel much better than I did a week ago. I shall plan better for my week off in June!
The next lot of paperwork for the house has finally come through. I had a feeling the Easter break would get things moving - perhaps it would be a quieter week for the person at LMH's solicitors dealing with our case and they would have a chance to get through some of their backlog. We have a couple of forms to sign (in front of witnesses) and a couple of documents to dig out and copy. Then we bundle the whole thing up and send back to our solicitor. It's all feeling terribly real...
I'm up the Chapter 5 in FFXV and I'm looking for the Regalia. The battle with Titan went MUCH better this time! Oh the joys of being over-levelled.
I checked the trigger point for Hearts of Stone and it appears that I was right - I don't have it. I will order next week when I'm back in work. I might also pre-order FF12:ZA whilst I'm at it - it's my birthday present but since it's scheduled to be released well AFTER my birthday, I don't think anyone's going to mind me ordering it early!
And I have two more maxi dresses making their way to me. I think they are going to be my new work-wardrobe staple!
A normal weekend with the grandson - 'to do' list includes getting his hair cut and (finally!) washing the windows. Next weekend is the husband's birthday bash, which we're all looking forward to. Then we'll be back to the normal routine for a while.
