Hunting and fishing and shooting, oh my!
So, finally got to have a go at fishing in FFXV and caught a fish! Go me. Also, after a battle, Prompto sang the victory music from (I think) FFXII - they're all kind of blurred for me... Anyway, it amused me. I still haven't got to ride a chocobo but I think I know how to 'release' them. If it doesn't work, I'm just going to get on with the story. I've had enough of running around the desert. I'm getting better at battles, I think. There are still a bewildering number of things to keep track of, but it's all making a bit more sense. And I had a go at crafting magic, which is going to be one of those things that sucks up a lot of time, I think. It's interesting to try out different combinations of things.
Our right to buy application is moving along. We've been approved in principle for a mortgage and have another meeting on 20 December to make the final decision. We need to check where LMH stand on us doing some home improvements; I emailed last week but haven't had a response. I think I'll try writing.
2016 continues to be one long, extended moment of grief. Celebrities, people I know, and people known to people I know, are shuffling off this mortal coil at an alarming rate. I don't know what to say about it all, really, other than to acknowledge the losses and pray for the healing of those left behind.
