Back to normal
So, it's Saturday and I'm waiting for the shopping to be delivered and the grandson to arrive - and contemplating this week's Flash Fiction Friday prompt. Life is definitely back to normal.
I've got a bit of a funny week coming up. Monday, the husband has his appointment at the doctor's. Wednesday there's an all day thing at work. Thursday is the funeral. Friday is the husband's birthday. And I'm off work the week after - the plan is to get the kitchen and bathroom painted AND to purchase and set up my shiny PS4. And then I will disappear into the FFXV demo.
But today is just Saturday.
I was hoping to take the grandson to Chester last weekend but, of course, I was ill. Today, I don't want to push my luck and next week my mother and step-father will be visiting to wish the husband happy birthday - and they'll probably come the weekend after for mine. So, it's looking like 14 May before we get to Chester. Well, hopefully the weather will be nice...
Got my application filled out and sent off, yesterday. Fingers crossed it gets me an interview at least. It would do my confidence a world of good.
