An interesting week

During my weekly reflection yesterday, I was very pleased by the number of meetings I'd attended that actually felt like they were making a difference, both from a personal point of view and a work one.

Particularly interesting encounter with my favourite colleague when he noticed that putting a blue jacket on over my green top changed the colour of my eyes. I'm not so much surprised that he noticed but that he commented on it. I can only guess it was one of those occasions where one speaks before realising it.

Finally finished 'ST: Enterprise'. I'm glad I've watched it but I doubt I'll watch it again. The first two series were interesting but I really didn't like the single story arc in the third or the lack of exploration in the fourth. They even had the cast comment on the lack of exploration a couple of times - but they still didn't send them out to explore.

I'm now on to the 4th series of 'ST: TNG'. Very much looking forward to that!

And I've finished the first 4 books of the Earthsea stories - on to #5 'The Other Wind', which I haven't read before.

Today is my step-father's birthday, so we're going out for a meal. Still not sure how many of us are going to be there.

Yeah - the usual randomness... Bye for now, LJ.
