So, the last week went by in a complete blur. Monday and Tuesday were stuffed full of meetings (mostly useful ones) then things slowed down a bit on Wednesday, then Thursday and Friday were stuffed full of work. But busy is good.
I've decided that my reaction to the terrible thing that is 5 years of Tory rule is to become an anti-capitalist by buying my clothes second-hand (except for underwear and shoes) and to get the local community into freecycling. On Wednesday, there was a free market in town to which I donated a pair of jeans and from which I got a knitted top, a shiny dress (which is too short to wear as a dress but makes a nice long top over jeans), 'Weaveworld' by Clive Barker (which I vaguely recall as being real fantasy) and a book called 'I, the Divine' which just looked interesting. I'm also getting lots of nice stuff from ebay, most of which fits but some of which doesn't.
And next Sunday, we're going to have a freecycle table outside church during the service.
I've also decided that freecycling is the 'thing' that my Easter musings were leading to. It puts two fingers up to consumerism, encourages sharing, helps the planet - it feels like what Kingdom People would do.
I also got 'LA Noire' from ebay and played about an hour this morning. It's... OK...
In FFX, I'm about to tackle the Cavern of the Stolen Fayth, which should also lead to 99 purifying salts so that I can get a No Encounters item.
Writing has been slow but steady for most of the week. Reorganising scenes sounds really simple but isn't - oh, I'll just move that scene from this chapter to that other one but I won't change it - oh, but that means I have to change the rest of the chapter so that it fits! So, I've made an effort to pick away at it and just do something but haven't killed myself. And I haven't done anything today, so I'm a bad Rosa today :(
And that's about all for today. Bye, LJ.
