Another week goes by in a blur...
On Saturday, I bought a suit on ebay that was described as a size 10 (size 6 for our American viewers). When it arrived on Wednesday, it turned out that the pants were a size 8; I could just about pull them up but there was no way I was going to fasten them. So, I contacted the seller to request a return. I'm still waiting for her to even come back with 'sorry about that'. I know it's only two days and I know there could be any number of reasons for the delay - and ebay gives her until next Friday to get back to me - but I was really looking forward to wearing that suit!
I haven't given any love to The Wolf Among Us but I did finish series 2 of Six Feet Under (that show is still brilliant!) and I made a start on Star Trek: Enterprise. I enjoyed the first episode, so hoping for good things.
The new task management tool I found, Trello, isn't very helpful to me in terms of organising work, so I'm back with Outlook. If it ain't broken, don't try to fix it! But I think I'll be able to use it for writing. I've got a big spreadsheet for Mannerley with all the chapters and the main events in each one all plotted out. Another week of working on that and then I think we start the hacking! Oh, I also need to print the whole thing out and read it through. I try to be paper-free but sometimes I just need to scribble!
It's been a really dry and reasonably sunny week, this week - after the rain, sleet, hail and snow of last week!
