So, where to start?
I've finished my Masters - woo hoo!!! I handed my dissertation in on 8 April - two weeks late, apparently. Only, because I'd never been given a date, I didn't find out the date until after it had passed *sigh* Luckily, we have a mechanism for extending deadlines, so I got my supervisor to sign the form - sorted.
Anyway, the dissertation itself is fab, if I do say so myself. And the best part was that I never got tired of it. I was still enjoying the process right up to the last full-stop. Now I just need to wait for the results in June.
Then I overdid things last weekend - just very, very busy. I wouldn't mind so much if I'd been partying :p I then spent the rest of the week recovering. I was just sooo tired all week. But, today, I feel normal at last :D
I'm now thinking ahead to November. I'm going to use some original characters I created a few years ago but never really made much use of. They live in a pseudo-RPG world, so, there's a Mage, a Thief, a Swordsman, and so on; they move through all the classic environments, snow, desert, forest, etc; and there are shops - item, weapon, etc. I also want some Moogle-like creature.
But I'm also open to ideas - if any of you LJ-folks have a favourite RPG element, give me a shout. It might make it into the novel :D
I'm also looking forward to my birthday. The big 4-0 this year :) The family are treating me to a DS and games. My wish list includes FF12: Revenant Wings, Prof Layton, Brain Training and 100 classic books. I am very bouncy about all this :D
Right, now it's time for my bath. Toodles, LJ.
