- looking forward to a nice hot bubble bath
- looking forward to playing video games and watching P&P
Did a bit of weeding in the back garden, yesterday, and put some super-strength herbicide on the sycamore stump. Hope it works...
I have freesias that smell gorgeous. I'm looking at getting some bulbs for the Spring - snowdrops, white mini narcissus and black tulips are favourite!
I also went into town and got a 'name a rose' kit for my auntie and uncle's anniversary present. I think it ticks all the boxes - it's unique to them, it's romantic, it's for the garden, it's from me and it's easy to pack! I also got a LFC teddy in a pink hoody for Zoe and a nice bottle of wine (half price, too) for Liz and Paul. So, I'm almost set for my trip to 'that London'.
I am sooo looking forward to getting my teeth into my dissertation. I'm going to spend the next 12 to 18 months reading all sorts of interesting stuff, I just know it. I started reading a book I got on 'mature spirituality' that I was afraid was going to be horribly pretentious but actually looks quite interesting. There's no mention of happiness in the index, though, which I find worrying. Still, there are books on happiness - I'm sure I can make the links.
And I still have 'Holding...' to update. Still on track to get chapters 7 & 8 done by the time lectures start again. Don't forget, you can read the first 6 chapters here!
