So, I've realised that I really haven't thought the technological aspects of the post-game FF8 world through, properly. I mean, they've only just got radio and television back - are they really ready for webcams and mobile phones? Unless Esthar has granted a whole heap of technology to the rest of the world...? But I'm not going to go back and try to make sense of it, at least at the moment. Partly this is because most (if not all) of my fanfics would need tweaking and partly it's because the techno aspects really aren't what's important to 'Holding...'. OK, it's lazy and it might interrupt the flow of the story for some readers, but what matters most is that there's a story for them to read.
At least, that's my justification :D
I'm currently listening to Radiohead's greatest hits on Spotify. It's sooo depressing...
In FF6 news, everyone is at least at Level 50 (even Umaro and Gau, who I don't intend to use in Kefka's Tower) and most people know all the spells (again, I'm even teaching them to Gau!). I'm just getting the last few spells learned and planning a trip with Strago for some Lores - oh, and I need to look up where to find Mog's last Dance. And then we storm that tower!
