So, the cold that resurfaced just in time for last weekend is definitely here for the long haul. I think the stress of last weekend is largely to blame. Even after a day and half off work, I don't feel measurably better. Being ill for over a week is just not like me.
There's been no news from Becky, so I'm guessing everything is going well. I'll ask her when she brings the baby, later.
Nano is progressing slowly but surely. Given the circumstances (family trauma, plus horrid cold / 'flu) I'm pretty pleased.
In FF7 news, I've played over 25 hours, and I'm still on Disc 1! I think I'm just postponing the end of the disc for as long as possible... On the positive side, it has allowed me to get Yuffie's final Limit Break, and to get Cloud, Aeris, and Vincent up to their Level 3's. I'm not going to get Aeris' final one, because I didn't realise you would need to go back to Junon before visiting the Temple of the Ancients. The walkthrough I'm using is a long way from being the best ever written... However, Jody said that facing Sephiroth at Level 80+ would make defeating him pretty easy, and with everyone already in the late 30's / early 40's (and Cloud approaching 50), that should be managable. The aim this time is to defeat Sephiroth. After 10 years of owning the game, I think it's about time I beat him to a pulp! In doing so, I also want to get as many final Limit Breaks and ultimate weapons as I can, which should help in the pulping *grin*
Well, that's all for now. Toodles, LJ.
