Recently it has occurred to me that, if I really wanted to, I could, in fact, afford to travel halfway across the world just for fun. I spend less money than I earn and cheap flights are a thing which exists. If you look for it. And you're not too picky about where and when exactly you're going. There was a conference in Gdańsk over the last three days. It went pretty well. Professor T. told me every day of the conference that he would give me yet another list of edits to make the next day. The Quantum Symposium is early this year. Also a talk at the University that might have been interesting. And the usual lecture and seminar. At the most intense moment of the day I was pretty much expected to be in four places at once. I think that's a new record.
