work

I finally signed the new contract a few days ago. I'm surprised at how easy and painless it was this time. Some details of the contract are not exactly what I expected. Apparently I am allowed to work in my current position for exactly eight years before getting a habilitation. That's not a lot of time, but there are ways to deal with this problem, especially if I keep dabbling in different areas of science, an endless source of funding and inspiration. And they're going to pay me quite a bit more than I had expected, so it's totally worth it. Now I just need to work really hard to make sure that I deserve it.

science!, work
