Conference no. 2
Yesterday I gave my first talk at an international conference. Of course the computer messed up the fonts in my presentation and turned all the Greek letters into random symbols, but other than that it went fine. The conference itself wasn't a very big one. Most of the people present had already either heard about my result at the seminar or talked to someone who had. Also, it was nice to listen to other people's talks and actually understand most of them for a change.
And I seem to have proved a new theorem today. A big one. I've been working on this for months (when I wasn't busy doing about 1846219632 other things, that is). Now, if only I had the time and energy to write it down.
