Photos of the weird and beautiful!
Things I saw in the South/Midwest on my wee vacation:
- a BALD EAGLE. I shit you not. I wish I'd had my camera at the ready, but we were in the car.
- Gas for $1.69. Most places it was higher; I think that's the lowest I saw. I'm excited to get it for $2.09 here. But I can dream.
- Lots of statues of Elvis. And other famous types, like BB King.
- Toilet seats shaped like guitars.
- The offramp for Bucksnort. We didn't really have time to visit.

A pair of pants made out of used teabags, at Lynn's Paradise Cafe in Louisville.
I recommend you visit Lynn's if you ever get the chance. Fattening but fun!

Barack Obama's signed baseball at the Louisville Slugger plant. There used to be one for McCain also, but it got taken away after the election. Taken through a glass case.
I have no idea who or what this is. It scared me. Right there on the street.
