Friday at last!
Good morning campers!
I'm quite tired this morning. I decided to watch House before the shower and then because of the time I went to bed again with my hair wet... bad idea. But I was tired fighting with Sox last night... eejit didn't want to do ANYTHING and got a fair few smacks for his trouble. Breathing difficulties stopped me shouting at him properly though and I'd left the inhaler at home (which was smart) so it was a case of breathe, breathe, breathe instead of giving off, lol.
I finished my stargate book yesterday in work...it was quite good but I think I'll leave the review for the community. Now I'm onto Memoirs of a Geisha.... break from the norm there, lol, but I think I'll continue to alternate reading material until the unread books in the bookcase are unread no more, lol.
I watched an episode of SGA last night...my god. I cried my eyes out, which is not unusual when someone croaks, but I didn't want this person to die. See how I'm not even mentioning the season/title of the episode or the characters name lol, truly heartbreaking. So I'm now in mourning, even though the character has been gone a while on US tv, but alas, they're gone.
The cardigan of eternal patience... the sleeve is nearly done which means the most complicated bit is yet to come... how am I meant to pick up stitches? How do you non-accidentally do yarn overs? I'm not prepared with the right knitting skills to do this next bit! And time is ticking away! I have to do the complex bit then knit a bit then sew it all up and pray to all the gods that it fits and that I didn't stress myself out for nothing!
It’s the first 6k today, and I forgot to lift my trackie bottoms... I shall be walking in stupid jeans. Grr. But it'll do me good. Then I'll go home, knit a bit and go to sleep, lol.
Back to work I go.
