I've been a bad rooster
...but it's all quillon's fault. Really.
Today Linen's and Things (his other job) had this special thing going on, where if you knew someone who works there they could give you a coupon for 25% off. And boy, did I use it. I got lots of cool stuff, but all of it was practical. And spent, well, a nice chunk of money. But I now have a laundry hamper, and some buzz clippers, and some kitchen stuff, all which I've needed for a long time. And I splurged a little on some new sheets for my bed, and new pillows (no such thing as too many pillows) and towels (same thing goes for those) and an electric toothbrush, which will be quite helpful. I've got some dental problems that have been festering for a while now, linked to the fact that I grind my teeth in my sleep, and the toothbrush will help. I wear a bite guard when I sleep, but by the time I started wearing it I had worn my gums down quite a bit.
So basically I spent a ton of money saving it, so to speak.
Also chatted with my mother, and looks like I will be spending most of this week in NJ. I'll be bringing my iBook so I should be updating my LJ at least once while I am gone. It's been ages since I've seen her and my sister; they still have Christmas gifts waiting for me, because I've been "about to" visit for that long. Things are finally stable enough here to where I can make the trip, at long last. I am excited.
Hopefully tonight I will get some sleep, instead of staying up all night playing with my new (ahem) toys.
