Look! I can finally post again! That last one was from about 3 days ago.
Anywho, you know what the best way to follow a 16 hour day in surgery is? A 14 hour day in surgery. With 7 hours off until the next morning's prerounds. >.<
Two trainwreck surgeries today. We almost lost one. He's not out of the woods by any means. Another girl perforated a bowel, so she's got to be pumped full of antibiotics so she hopefully doesn't develop an abscess, or God forbid, sepsis.
I've got to read up on some stuff. I need to be back at the hospital in 6 hours. I also need to sleep and maybe eat at some point.
