Kind of nervous

I always dread change. I don't mind the change itself, usually, but the unnameable fears pull at me. So, my last day of office work is Friday, and then I need to write up a manual, and that's all the magazine work I'm signed up for ( Read more... )

Moving, oh my goodness!

We will have to make extra sure we get to spend good time together frequently! Please know you can always crash at the Steenhenge. Wish you were nearer, but I'm so impressed with you for taking the plunge with the school thing! Wahoo for you!

thank you thank you! It's good to know I can crash with you in a pinch, you lovely you. And I don't know if the UW is nearer to you than the ferry terminal, but I should be around quite a bit, and I would not want to miss any of you that I could get (assuming I'm not having people's block).

Cheeses! That's a lot of change all at once. I'd be fearful, too. I hope you're going to have a 'I'm moving out of town' party sometime after late March when I get back.

yay in march! that's a good idea to have a party, it'd probably be better attended than a housewarming party. :)

Yay, school! Buses to the U are generally pretty great, as they should be considering tens of thousands of us have to get there every day. Have you considered staying over here during the week sometimes and going to your brother's on weekends? Such arrangements always occur to me, since I did a similar thing when I was five and Dad was working at Satsop, and I happen to have this big house which would likely be available for such an endeavor.

Does that mean you'd like to talk about it some more? :) Wim will be home post-dinner tomorrow, but maybe we could cook you some dinner next week and have a chat.

I understand the change dread. I have it too.

Let me know if you need some change distractions and want to hang out or go to movie or dinner or throw pebbles into the water at Golden Gardens.
