Kind of nervous
I always dread change. I don't mind the change itself, usually, but the unnameable fears pull at me. So, my last day of office work is Friday, and then I need to write up a manual, and that's all the magazine work I'm signed up for.
Last week I went to the U and talked to advising about what I needed for my degree, and it's 22 credits. So I applied for readmission, and everybody assures me they'll snap me up, but I don't know when I'll find out. I actually don't know anything, I'm going to go look at the schedule of stuff on the website right now. One of the requirements I need to finish is a quarter of Latin, so I'm trying to cram some of that back into my head already. Luckily I know quite a few lovely UW students (ok, at least 2) so I already have friends there, yay! :)
I plan to move in with my brother on Whidbey Island, which entails a long-ass commute, and getting rid of just tons of stuff. Cool, there's a bus from the ferry terminal straight to the UW (and vice versa). Not that I won't have my car, but jiminy that's a long way to drive frequently.
and again I must emphasize the ugh. ugh ugh ugh!
