Mini Rant

I don't do this very often, as a matter of fact I almost never post reviews or spoilers of any of the Smallville episodes.

First and foremost, I must thank ceruleancat for introducing me to suprnova.org and search engines. I was able to dl Talisman in less than 8 hours. I slept through the airing of the ep Wednesday night and despaired of seeing it until ( Read more... )

oohhh!!

this is so awesome. and funny! heh. thanks for the explanations :)

it amuses me to no end that the set decoration people thought they could get away with just slapping random x-rays in the background. you should never assume that "people" will not notice because they sure do!

i love bittorrent, too. do you have a program that manages your torrents? i am using torrentstorm, which allows me to limit my uploads so that my downloads are faster.

Had to ask. Does that prog come with variuos nefarious spyware, or is it clean and simple to use?

not that i know. i hope not! i think it's open source, just like bittorrent. it is really easy to use, and it really helps with my download speed.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm only using the bittorrent itself right now and looking for something more user oriented.
You know anything about Torrentopia?

Considering the fact that Lex is Mulder, anything's possible.

hmmm.
Now thinking. Lil decided to take the FTM route after the babies were born?

Isn't it a part of an old, old, OLD bunny I once had? Leetal might remember details.

it could be, it could be. that would be quite a twist. *goes back to watch every episode for further proof of this intriguing hypothesis*

Wow, that was really interesting! Thanks for sharing that information with us.

I certainly never would have known those x-rays weren't Lionel's. It's little details like this that I love to find in shows and movies.

It never ceases to amaze me what the production crew assumes they can get away with. They certainly aren't thinking that someone like your job is going to be paying such close attention to it, though it's obvious that they should be thinking so. Maybe they assumed that we'd all be distracted by Lionel's chest that we wouldn't be paying attention to such details. ;)

I know! These are only the things, *I* notice. It would probably astound us all to find out all the mistakes they make on a weekly basis.

Not to mention the lack of oblique views necessary to diagnose any type of rib injury....

As an RT(R) also (and RDMS to boot), I share your pain. Its gotten to the point that I no longer pay attention to any of the xrays, ultrasounds, CT or MRI images that they show on t.v.

I don't watch ER or any of the other 'medical' shows just for this reason. But something like Smallville, I couldn't help but notice and grrr.

Nice to meet a fellow salt miner. :)
