God I hate that Ronda. We will ALL take care of you in New Orleans and make sure that NO ONE sticks you 4 times.
*fussing begins*
Now, what had you eaten for lunch 30 minutes before? Carbs? Simple sugars that rise and then plummet fast? How much protein was there?
Perhaps we need to rethink going places by ourselves in the car on days that we've had a spinning workout or something equally as strenuous.

It's not like this is an event that takes place alot, it is just a thing that diabetics have to deal with now and then. It is scary to be at the mercy of others when you are totally out of it but so far I have always had good people help me/find me.
Now as far as not going places by myself... there is no way in hell I will let the fact that I am diabetic dictate my indepence. I completely understand your concern and thank you for it but just like I have for the last 12 years I will continue to check my blood sugar, though perhaps more often on spinning days, until my insulin intake/weight loss get evened out. Don't worry about NO, I'm sure every thing will be fine. With all the food planns that I have seen taking place already I can't imagine low blood sugar will be a problem, lol.

Boo for the massive blood pool - make sure to wash it in cold water to get the stains out. *wibbles a little for you*
