low blood sugar strikes again!!!

Standing on the escalator in the mall I thought it felt like the stairs were breaking, moving in a weird jerky motion, no, turns out that was me. I woke up on the floor in front of the Discovery Channel Store, surrounded by EMTs, firefighters, and mall security, not to mention a nice little passer-by crowd, I was covered in blood, drenched in sweat and all I remember was that I felt the need to lean against the wall at one point. I heard later two nice people lowered me to the floor and sat with me until the EMTs came, I wish I had gotten the chance to thank them. The blood it turns out was from multiple attemtps to get a vein for an IV and it sort of soaked into my sweater and shirt and a little of my pants, no head wounds or anything, lol. My blood sugar was 9 when they checked it, that is a personal record low for me *questions if I should cheer or not*. Now before anyone jumps on me there was no reason what so ever for this to have happened. I had just finished eating lunch not 30mins before hand. I did go spinning this morning and it is possible that plus recent weight loss caused this to happen but it's not like it happens all the time and I was very lucky I didn't get inmy car because it all happened very fast and I doubt I would have realized it if I were driving. In the end I was unplugged from all the IVs, and heart monitors, I had to sign a few papers refusing to go to the hospital and I was given a bag to put my bloody clothes...grrrr. I have holes in my arm from 4 IV attempts, they apparently managed my wrist in the end, lucky that because he said he woud have gone for a central line if that one hadn't of taken, not fun. I wasn't all the embarressed in the end because those people don't know me and I don't know any of them. I did however had to walk back to my car in clothes that were semi blood soaked, at least on the right side... ahh well.

All is well now, I managed to force down some more food and drive home and now I shall relax and read and watch my arm turn a lovely rainbow of bruises.

My day however was made good by the fact that I found a very nice strapless bra on ym first try in a store, yay!
