Sweat'n with the Oldies.
I am the youngest person in the police training course. Everyone else is in their 20's and older. Plus - am only girl! When I showed up at the physical assessment yesterday, the instructor kept hinting that not everyone passes the first time. And there is a short course that can be completed during the assessment, as long as you can complete the longer course by the end of the training course. And he kept looking at me the entire time he said this!
So I did the long course. And I finished first. I think the Instructanasshole's jaw hit the floor as soon as I crossed the finish line. As he dismissed us he told us we would do the course again on Friday, with weight on our backs. He then walked away muttering something about luck. At this point all the guy's walked away and into their change room. I feel like I am in a GI Jane movie or something.

Disadvantage: lots of angry little men
