Quite a thing this Astroturfing.

H/T to Dogsolitude. As we discussed yesterday (in my last and private post) major upsets seem to be encroaching on "The Independent" and elsewhere. Trolling can be split into what I am terming the "organised" and "disorganised". The Disorganised are common or garden mentally ill stalkers, usually having been sectioned after a breakdown they seek for a target (elements of de Clerambaults syndrome here) and a cause to blame their many failures on. Even when I was interviewed by The Independent three weeks ago I did not name any individual, nor will I bother to now. Organised trolling can be seen on "anti-establishment" sites where police trolls turn up (never admitting to being in the police) and tell us all how wonderful the thick blue 'roided up freaks are.
Ever see a film called "The rise and rise of Michael Rimmer"? (I hope I recalled it correctly). A satire on a man that used P.R as a tool to gain power and establish a dictatorship in Westminster. We are entering a new wave in Blogging, now that "they" the authorities see how widely disrespected they are it is time for them to try and manipulate the little man. I am not interested in corporate astroturfing, I will decide whether I like Pepsi or Coke myself, it is of minor consequence. The Big Questions are what scares and enrages Whitehall. Each day we are stronger, they are weaker.
On another happy note Ballabriggs and State of Play both won me a few quid. I look forward to rewatching "Knocked Up" with the fair Katherine Hiegl.
