Big Brother Exposed - the inside story.

Dwelling on the Dutch origins of the reality television show, most of Part One was taken up by a retrospective of Series One, and focused on the antics of "Nasty Nick" Bateman.
Series Two looked at Helen and Paul, Series Three chav heroine Jade, whilst Series Four was widely labelled as "boring". Most of Part Two looked at the decline that had set in with the exception of the hiatus of Series Five (Fight Night). Six and Seven passed in a haze of wannabe frenzy. Chanelle's agent looked and sounded like Danny in "Withnail and I". Davina McCawfull attempted a career away from Channel 4 and what had become Lowest Common Denominator TV.
By now Big Brother had morphed into "Celebrity B.B" and the Shilpa Shetty episode saw a downward spiral that the show never recovered from. Series Eight and Nine affirmed this, and with Series Ten last year came news that the contract with C4 would not be renewed.
Theories have been put forward as to why. Do shows have an inbuilt half-life? (Think Brookside). Or possibly B.B lost it's way due to poor choice of house-mates.
