Yesterday was the wedding of one of my good friends and for her I wore a dress. We got word tonight of the Magnitude of the Earthquake this morning. It was a 5.8 on the Richter Scale and after 2pm today we had an aftershock that measured a 5.5 on the Richter Scale, so yeah we had a very *exciting* day. We just had a fairly intense earthquake here in Trinidad, The entire office shook left to right for what seemed a long time but may have only been 30 secs - 1 minute. There were two hard rocks and then a series of smaller aftershocks. Everything stopped for a while but things went back to normal within 15 minutes. Of course it scared us for a bit ( Read more... )

Duuuude...... I stay away because of work from the world at large and I come back to find it a darker place. Steve Irwin The Crocodile Hunter was killed by a Sting Ray.....how sad and somehow apt....that his death would be caused by nature.  I dunno but I really felt bad when I heard that he had passed on, I mean he was one of those guys you think ( Read more... )
