Year 1 - Spring - Jackson II
Hello peeps, it's your favourite little badger girl Rose here!
Daddy Lucas made me write this to help me with my English, it's pretty cool, much better than writing an essay. We have moved into this gigantic huge house, you should see it, I've never seen anything so big, except in books of course. The only bad bit is the school room out back, if we got rid of that it would be the best house ever!
Daddy Lucas isn't the best cook, he tried to make Uncle Milo's special soup but he even managed to burn that! I prefer the out of date cookies they brought back, the sugar makes me happy!
Mummy came to visit but she didn't stay long, she said she was super busy with her new business venture. She said when I'm older I can help her. Daddy Lucas has got a girlfriend! Oops, I'm not supposed to tell you, it's a secret! Don't tell anyone! But she's very pretty...
River is my best friend, she's a little bit younger than me but that's okay. She's very clever and always has her nose stuck in a book. Her mummy is Scout, she's in charge of things round here, I find her a bit scary but River says she is nice.
At the end of spring I had a big birthday, I'm officially a teenager now. Now I can do whatever I want and blame it all on my hormones, Daddy Lucas doesn't like talking about things like that. When I grow up I want to be popular and have lots and lots of friends, maybe I'll be a cheerleader, or win Miss America, Daddy Lucas says you have to dream big.
