i hate money too, but it's integral and inevitable. after a while it becomes a silly and inconvenient thing to hate. you can give up money, but that means you will have to give up other things, too. then, eventually, priorities seem to change and money doesn't seem so bad. in fact, if you think of the alternatives, it's really an all right thing. just as long as you keep it under wraps, you know? don't let it get the best of you. which you won't, i'm just saying. then it won't seem so bad.

people won't ever stop being kind of awful. but, that's what makes those precious, in between moments seem so much more miraculous, and makes everything, and everyone, worth it. be realistic and know that your pretty idealism will never be attained in fallen natures, but don't forget to keep looking out for, and appreciating with your whole heart, the small beautiful ones.

That 5 pound bag of tater tots for 4.99 may seem like a good deal, but when there's nothing left in the freezer you're pissed that all you have is a 5 pound bag of tater tots to shove down your gullet Instead of being happy you at least have anything to eat at all.
It's like buying a poster and putting it in your room to tell other people you listen to idk CREED instead of just telling them. In the meantime your paying for such and such a corporation to print them, to make more money. To buy more shit. Circle of the bills.
I know, I know that My views can be askew and swishy swashy, But I hope I never loose that. The things that feed you best in life, are the things that piss you off, or love.

that's why you be careful with money. you earn in to survive, yes, but also for happiness, oddly. don't buy things that aren't worth it. don't waste your hard work. even though a glass of tea can be four dollars and consumed in five minutes, it is worth it if it's shared with good company and conversation. spending money on frivolous things can be disheartening, but not if that frivolous thing is a gift for a friend that will make their eyes sparkle. and, it's amazing how far one can get with only a few dollars. so then, when there's one thing that you don't need but really love, that will make you joyful, like purple forest animal curtains, splurging feels like an okay thing to do, a treat. just prioritize, be careful, and money can be very rewarding.

Money is like that little lurking twitch in your pocket, easy to spend but harder to get back. Unless your into refunds. Purple forest animal curtains would indeed make my eyes sparkle. It's difficult to prioritize, I'm learning the key is just patience. I'm pleased to announce I have an interview at pastabilities tomorrow, so that's a plus. I'm super pumped about it, you know how much I love that place.
