Fanfiction update!
Hello, dearest readers! It's been a long time since I've made an official post regarding my fanfiction--present and future. This seems as good a day as any since I cleaned my room yesterday, I jotted down FF notes in between classes today, and I just feel like talking fanfiction. ^_~
Some of what I have to say is completely pointless, but if you've been reading and/or wishing I would update Roman Hikou University you'll want to read number 2 at least. If you're interested in some of my future fanfiction ideas you'll want to read number 4. ;)
Item 1 My current most productive fics...
Abingdon School For Boys - I've finally figured out how many chapters this will have, give or take a few. Other than that, I'm not sure what else to say about this one. It's fun, and I'm usually able to update it once a week. ^^V
All Mad - I still haven't figured out how long this one will be. It isn't updated as frequently as ASB either, but that's mostly because I'm paying attention to realism, so each chapter is a bit more time-consuming.
Item 2 My current not-so-productive fics... Okay, okay, current fics I haven't updated in a month or more...
Hitch - I've never not had inspiration for the "Hitch" series! Every time I sit down to write chapter 4, though, I end up just staring at a blank document while thinking of the millions of other things I could be doing. I refuse to end fics unfinished, though, so give me a little more time, and you will see an update!
Roman Hikou University - I HAVE GOOD NEWS FOR THIS ONE!! Yesterday while I was cleaning out my desk I found the outline for this! That had been one of the things holding me back! I'm much more inspired now, and if you don't see an update this week or next week, expect to see one the week after because that's when I'll be on spring break. ^^V
Item 3 My current challenges...
Kyo x Anyone - I'm still working on these, don't worry. The latest was Narration of Masturbation, so feel free to read it while you wait for the next one. Also, requests for that are now closed. As it is, I'll be spending the rest of my life on these...
50stories - I'm about 10 fics away from being halfway done with this one! It's really easy to write Lida x Daishi oneshots spur of the moment, too, so I'm hoping to reach the halfway point by the summer.
Kyo x Takanori - As for my rare_k_love challenge pairing...I'm just going to wait until the urge strikes me. I'm sure it won't take long, though. You all know KyoTaka is my Crack OTP. XD
Item 4 Because my brain never stops plotting ridiculous Jrock fanfiction ideas...
The next Psycho le Cemu AU fic - Inspired by my Agatha Christie books, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and Daishi's new CD... Kajinaga Daishi is a well-known detective living in Tokyo. Lida is his lesser-known partner. They must work together to solve a murder mystery when cross-dressing mistress, Aya, hires them to find out who killed his sugar daddy. Daishi immediately wants to point the finger at his long time nemesis, and Lord of crime, Seek; however, Lida's putting his money on Yura, the mysterious priest, who is somehow involved.
I realize it sounds totally lame and cheesy, but...humor me. The boys themselves inspired me with this pic:
Of course, I'm only going to post it if people are interested in reading it (let me know now!), and even then, it wouldn't be until after I've finished Roman Hikou University. One PlC AU fic at a time! XD
Deg/PlC Crossover - Well, emikofae inspired me, then terashii and 21stcherry_boy provoked me... At any rate, the two bands I write for most are easily Dir en grey and Psycho le Cemu, so it was only a matter of time before I decided to combine them...
Here's the premise thus far (meaning, it shall probably yet be tweaked): It was Dir en grey's advisor who insisted they accept the challenge to star in a comedic/dramatic reality show. Their opponents? The ex-members of Psycho le Cemu. Boys will be boys, so they all immediately get very competitive. The only problem is that Diru are all united while Psycho can't get along. They must bond together if they want to win, but it seems they're much more interested in fraternizing with the opposition...
You wouldn't even believe all the pairing ideas I've come up with. I'm stepping out of my usual pairing box, too. The sky's the limit! 8D Of course, I'm not planning to start this one until the end of April/beginning of May. I want to give myself until the beginning of summer break to get other fanfic stuff done. Plus, the whole fic setting is such a summer theme that I wouldn't dream of starting it until then! *_*
And I think that's about all I have to say. Questions? Comments? Concerns? ^_^
