Once upon a time - Or Happy Birthday inlovewithnight!!!
Today, my dear and darling flist, marks the celebration of the occasion of the birth of one inlovewithnight. This was a monumental event, for it gave the world one of the nicest, sweetest, most caring, most amazing, most awesomest people I have ever met.
We met, oh, a million years ago, which is roughly 2006, through King Arthur. And we have been together through Hornblower and BSG and Brothers & Sisters and movies no one's ever heard of and RPS and now bandom. We drag each other into our obsessions because that makes it more fun, especially since without each other we'd be in fandoms of one instead of fandoms of two.
I cannot detail all the amazing things that she does for me. She is my friend and my confidante. She's my support when I can't deal with the real world around me. She listens to me when I need to talk and she doesn't laugh at the things I do that are stupid. She holds my hand and offers me hugs and she also kicks my ass when I need it. I spend hours of the day chatting with her, making up stories and being silly and outrageous. I hate that she lives so far away because there are TIMEZONES and MILES between us, so I only get to see her maybe once a year (always for less than two weeks, because of the smelly fish thing).
I'm sure I drive her crazy sometimes, but she always puts up with me, and if she complains about it, it's to other people who don't tell me and thus leave me to my illusions. She's promised never to put me on a filter so she doesn't have to read my stuff and she's probably the most adorable thing ever. So, in celebration, since I fail at writing fic for her (that she hasn't already seen), I will post a picspam of all things inlovewithnight likes:
