001|The Odd Couple|Locked to blossomingland
The color scheme of this apartment built for two was rather neutral and dark with the exception of the occasional splash of burgundy. The layout consisted of two bedrooms, one bathroom, entry way, kitchen, and a living room. Large windows offered the view of downtown. It was within walking distance of the mall and a lovely park. The only draw back would be the “strings attached” portion of this deal.
Living here meant one had to deal with a certain male who was kicked back on the love seat. He had laid claims to the steps and the bedroom up there after he found the place to his satisfaction. A book was opened in his lap, his chin resting on his curled fist propped up against a pillow. Maybe it was a trick of light but he almost seemed nice at the moment. Mahogany colored eyes were scanning the words on the page carefully, seeming absorbed in the story unfolding.
