Nice way to usher in the new season there, city...
[Axel sits on a tombstone- just one of many in the backyard of the hotel she had been staying in. Because it seems now to be less 'backyard' and more 'random graveyard'. With everything that has happened to her in this place alone, it's not the strangest to happen. She just sits there, back bent and legs crooked so her heels rest against whoever's name she happens to be defiling.
Her gaze is really focused nowhere at all. In fact, it's a bit too sharp a color, filled with nothing- not even her usual bitter spark. She seems to be speaking to herself.]
Not sure why I was surprised in the first place. Lots of nice words don't mean anything in the end... And...
[With a sigh, she places her hands on the gravestone and tosses her head back to stare up at the sky.]
Jeez, all the gray... This place needs its sunsets back.
