I am so happy that we went to New Orleans. My new years resolution for this year is to go back in 2012. (Possibly permanently. We'll see.) I would miss the mountains but I so loved being surrounded by all that art and music. Also, I had never seen the Mississippi before, or at least I don't remember seeing it when we went in 1990something.
It's also a blessing to remember how awesome your family is and to be able to reconnect with parts of it that you haven't seen for a long time.
Eventually I may upload all of the pictures I took onto facebook; although sadly they were all taken with a piece of crap cell phone camera.
