When the slugs in your neck of the woods reach adult size, are they brown or black? The ones in NY were brown, but I saw some in Washington state that were so shiny and black, they looked like plastic kid's toys. Then I saw one move... ugh.
Does Harold live indoors or out? I'm beginning to think one of his cousins might be quite welcome here in this somewhat bug-infested neighborhood! He looks very happy and healthy, congrats!

Umm, the slugs here are mostly brown, although I've seen some black ones before. They're creepy looking, but also cool...in a creepy way.
Harold is a mostly indoor plant, but I do put him outside to get a little sun once in a while. You should definitely get one. He's very low maintenance and, according to the directions, doesn't even need to be re-potted. :)
