Turning to Jesus for relief and rest rather than being overwhelmed is amaaazing. I love that option: turn to Jesus and let Him carry you, or try to make it on your own and end up pulling your hair out.
Kendyl, you are absolutely wonderfully spectacularly ROCKIN! You have no idea how dinner with you tonight made me feel worlds and worlds better. You allowed me to put so much into perspective...and for once I was able to relax with myself.
Okay kids, this cold weather is making me smile so much. My mom called me today and told me how it was snowing back home. Now personally, I am a cold weather kind of gal'. The fact that it was cold enough in my room last night to be able to snuggle up with my pillows under the covers was STUPENDOUS!!! I woke up smiling...I think.
Anyways, I think I'm going to give myself some chill time with the best Daddy in the world. Yes, I mean the coolest God everrrrrrr! I think that in the past three days I have begun to understand what really being free in Him is about.
