This weekend was the most fun I've had in quite a while. Phil finally came up to visit from NCState after the trip being in the planning stages for a few weeks. Last weekend, I got too much work piled on me at the last minute and had to tell him not to come, so luckily we were both able to get enough stuff done over the week to have time to make a visit worth it. Friday night we went out to AEPi for his first real frat party since apparently cops everywhere else are more vigilant than ours...maybe I take that for granted, dunno since I don't have experience anywhere else. Very little drinking took place. I then made him get a Gusburger, which he loved and then got another. Saturday we went out onto the Hereford lawn for free food and a concert thing, which was cool and relaxing. Then we played a lot of Gran Turismo 4 on a swindled playstation. That night we just chilled in the room after a few 151 shots...aaand played more Gran Turismo. That night when Harrison came back, he and I managed to combine our powers and get his key stuck in the lock...don't ask how it happened, it somehow involved me turning the lock from inside to let him in at the same time he was turning his key from the outside. (Sidenote: we had to get the locksmith to come and take apart the deadbolt to free his key last night.) Sunday afternoon Phil and I went to the corner and ate at Qdoba, then he had to leave for his 4 hour return trip. Everyone had fun and stayed busy, no one got in trouble or injured, it was a success.
Now my allergies are coming on full force, and asthma is taking a reunion tour of my lungs after hiding relatively in the shadows for a couple years. Damn. Feeling like a boa constrictor is wrapped around your chest is not pleasant, and the anxiety it causes just intensifies it. It needs to rain. Immediately.
