Wedding Bells and Credit Card Debt
The Semester (and the school year) are finally over. i was about to have a nervous breakdown for a while there, what with 13 credits (three of which were photography courses), being in a show, keeping up with my house and bills, working 20-30 hours a week, and trying to keep up with Derek. i survived, and now i'm turning my attention to all of the traveling and weddings that are coming up. in three short weeks, justin and mara are getting married. but a week prior to that is when all of the celebrations start. we are going to Disney World for two days for bachelor/bachlorette fun, then to Tampa to stay in a RESORT for four more days for the wedding and all of the preparations. then derek and i shall limp home, broke as hell.
(i just have to gloat here - Derek's tux is costing 160 dollars to rent, and i found a dress on a crazy sale at Macys for only $19. :) i rule.)
Then, i'm working everyday until June 10th, when my family and derek head down to Bradenten, Fl for my brother's wedding. this is a much more subdued affair in comparison to Justin and Mara's, because my future sister-in-law comes from a family of southern baptists. no alcohol at the reception, no disney. quite different from the Irish Catholic fun of the previous one. i also have to wear a gold strapless bridesmaid dress. i'm just thanking Shannon from the bottom of my heart for not getting dresses with big puffy sleeves. i don't think that i would be able to go thru with the ceremony in that instance.
also, both Mara and Shannon want me to take pictures at both weddings. i am gonna be developing film forever. :)
