donna summer everyday!
Richard turned to me this afternoon as i was dancing around to "Get Ethnic" from the MISTAKEN IDENTITY album by DONNA SUMMER and said, "You know that we listen to Donna Summer everyday!"
It's true. It really is. Ever since i got the bug that she had a new album coming out, i started obssessing. Like for serious obssessing. To the point where i planned to write her biography! CRAZY! Things like this happen to me. I latch onto something like a pitbull to a child and won't let go, no matter how hard you shake me. I know what it is. I happened with DREAMGIRLS last year. It's cool. I get it. I work through my pain and sorrow with the divas. This year, which has quite possibly seen all of my dreams come true (sans new whitney album) has also be peppered with some of the most intense and INSANE family drama this side of SouthFork. If you have four hours and three pitchers of BUD LIGHT i might, i stress might tell the story again. I told one of my best friends while i was in Picayune over drinks and drunk girls and by the time i finished the crowd had sung FREEBIRD twice and the lights came on. And a girl had stood on her head. It was that kinda place. When i finished i was emotionally exhausted. It is good to have some else know the whole truth.
So yeah, I listen to Donna Summer everyday, but i swear when i hear "Could it be magic", the spirit leaves me and i soar into the clouds with a white faux fur!
