warning, high levels of wangst ahead
[Gabranth isn't sure just what he's doing on another beach, nor why this one has apparently seen fit to discard his swords and armor. Nor is he fully aware of whatever "scavenger hunt" he's been expected to participate in; no, there are far greater things weighing on his mind.
He barely even remembers the last world, but he remembers the towers-- he remembers the note, remembers seeing that Yako was in danger-- but he doesn't remember saving her-- Beyond even that, he doesn't remember finding Roxas again--
He stares out at the ocean, wondering what he's supposed to do now. He's lost the one he vowed to protect, with no simple guarantee that she'll ever come back; he had made no such vow to that boy, but that same ache was still there, that ache of not knowing whether this world would return him...
He hasn't ever felt quite so useless since coming here-- which is saying a lot, considering what he's been through in this shifting realm-- and for once that feeling hasn't welled into frustration or rage. He just feels...pathetic.
