I wouldn't be surprised if you don't remember me, but this is Bashou/Ruismii from way back during my days of FY on fanfiction.net. I'm sitting in my bed at 2am ignoring the fact that I need to be up in 4 hours dong important things and I think: 'fanfiction.net?! ages ago!'. And I find & read your stories again, and, really, I have no clue how I got here. I suppose it's lucky I had an lj account from...2005.
How are you?! I am terribly excited to hear about the progress on your original novel! I remember hearing murmurings before, so it makes me really happy to hear that you're, you know, doing it. Hah! You always were an amazing writer. Excuse me - are - an amazing writer. (I know you are very much kicking and alive, yet you, and what I associate with you are so nostalgic to me. Sorry! I guess that needs to be updated.)
How will I know when to look out for your novel on the bookshelves? My obsession with reading has never ended, and your works of fanfiction that I have read are still stuck with me (I think the only pieces of fanfiction that I keep reading periodically), so I would be honoured to read original works by you.
If you don't remember me, that's cool, dats coo. Just don't judge me on what my entries in my lj are, haha! I guess four years does change a person.

Of course I remember you! I'll never forget your reviews, especially the emotional meltdown at the end of "White Stones." ^__^ I'm swamped at work at the present time, but as soon as I get time, I'm going to look up your lj to see what you've been up to. I hope your life is going well!
Yes,I'm "working" on an original novel--which means that I'm finished with the first draft and now am caught up in the dreadful edits of the second draft. If work would just back off a bit, I would hope to get this finished by the end of the year. Believe me, if I ever get published, I'm going to crow about it in my lj, despite my upbringing to be modest. :P I'll also let you know--you can be one of the ten people to buy my book, hee!
In other news, both Mouse-chan and Ryuen are now living in Japan, for a while at least. Mouse is almost finished with her original novel (fifth draft, I think), and great news--Ryuen has been published with an ebook! It's a sweet little (yaoi) romance, and if you're interested, I'll give you a link to look at it. Her writing is as heart-tugging as usual--and so is Mouse-chan's, of course.
Anyway, I'll pass on your greetings to the girls, and thanks so much for dropping by! it's always great to hear from old friends!
