If there is one person or more on your friends list who makes your world a better place just because they exist and who you would not have met (in real life or not) without the internet, then post this same sentence in your journal.
Although I was pretty much a fully formed adult before das Intertubes was invented, there is no doubt that my Internet-met (and now RL) friends have enriched my life. I think I would have written fanfic regardless, but I'm not sure I would've made the leap to an original novel without their help and encouragement.
Now back to slogging away at Draft #2. (grumble, grumble)
