sForzato formed in 2011 when the members met while at music school in Tokyo. With music leaning more toward the heavier end of the spectrum, the band admittedly call themselves “metal-style” among the VK genre.

sForzato’s 2-track single was released in July 2013  and is the second CD single from this young band. In comparison to their first CD release, the single not only shows a big improvement in production but also an increased assurance from the band in terms of their own sound.

Brought together by bassist Rame (ex-Vidoll), Black Gene for the Next Scene, a.k.a BFN, is the hottest new thing to VK. Their incorporation of trance style music into the heavy metal-core VK style combined with outrageous choreography is unbelievably new and fresh.

In late 2011, Rame announced that he would be starting a brand new band named Black Gene for the Next Scene. Ever since Rame’s announcement, fans highly anticipated the unveiling of the other members. It wasn’t until their first live at Shibuya Star Lounge on November 1 that the mystery was lifted.

DOOM is a strong statement of intent for a new band looking to both establish themselves in the visual kei scene and  move forward.  Vidoll comparisons are inevitable, but from this maxi-single alone it appears that Black Gene for the Next Scene are more than capable of being new and fresh.
