Rhyming Story Challenge: Round 2 - submitted!
For round two, my group has been assigned the following:
Genre: Drama
Theme: Independence
Emotion: Regretful
I got my entry written and am happy with how it turned out. I wrote it as an acrostic, and my total word count was 464 words, out of a maximum of 500.
The only downside to the competition is how long we have to wait for results! There are 22 groups of 32 writers. If I make it to round 3 - and only the top FOUR from each group will move onward - that round won’t start until February 3rd. Which means we get our results the day before. So…. Yeah.
After the submission period is over (11:59 pm tonight), I’ll post my entry here.
Just to whet your appetite, my title is “Penelope’s Quest.”
