Note: This is photo-heavy, so I'm putting the photos behind LJ-cuts.
I squirmed squarely inside -
my wide, womanly hips,
thick thighs, and curvy calves
squeezing through the entry port,
thumping softly upon the inner surface
of the huge inflatable globe.
Water sloshed around me,
wetting my bare legs and darkening
my burgundy swimsuit.
I lay back upon the warm womb,
gazing outward through the pale veil,
waiting for the inevitable fall.
The gate dropped, and my stomach
flipped as the round rubbery globe
bounced blithely down the zig-zag track.
I spun around, laughing gleefully,
the water sloshing me from side to side,
flipping me freely forward and back.
The gigantic globe and I danced a duet
down the grassy green hill side,
I dipped and swayed, keeping the beat
of the hot summer sun at bay,
a large swan swimming merrily
inside a shallow latex lake.
Soon, the bouncing and jouncing ends,
and the Zydro ball is corralled.
A breach birth, feet first,
I tumble out onto the earth,
refreshed and renewed in body and spirit,
I still laugh with glee - can you hear it?
