Chocolate and Cosmetics and Cats - Oh My!
Went to bed too late last night (okay... nearly 4am this morning) but I got a few more pages done in my cruise scrapbook (through the grand gala buffet with all the yummy and artsy foodstuffs) then got my papers sorted out, everything put away into my pink tote and paper tote, and the dining room table cleaned off - it looks like a dining room table again - whee!
All I have left to do are the Aruba photos (of which there are many) and the photos of the towel animals (one page, tops) and a few miscellaneous photos here and there. So I'm going to do that on the Scrap Pink retreat during the last weekend of the month, and that'll be that for the 2005 photos. *phew*
Anyway, I slept in until nearly 11am, showered, got dressed, neatened the kitchen, topped the strawberries (*cough*cough*), put together the chocolate fountain, made some cheese eggs and toast for brunch (real food!), caught up on LJ, and typed this entry with Tigger in my lap. The boy has been temporarily banned from the bedroom due to his recent disregard for litterbox rules the other day, and this makes him more cuddly when we are together - he's currently in my lap, leaning his head and forepaws against my left wrist and forearm - cute, but it makes it hard to type!
I've still got to slice up some apples and bananas and cube the (sugar free) Angel food cake, then melt the chocolate in the microwave for use in the fountain. Nummy!
Should be a relatively good turnout for the Mary Kay party. Although minikin can't attend due to Pappoon's baby shower up in da 'ville, Ma 'kin will be here, as will my dearest friend talathmeril (whom I haven't seen in quite some time), my co-worker Susan, her 18-year-old daughter J, and possibly another co-worker, K. There is also the potential of Knight's cousin, MBrum, attending as well. So at least 4 attendees (not including myself) with the possibility of 6. Yay!
Okay, time to get to slicing and dicing before KYRed (the MK Consultant) arrives at 2:15 to do my glamour makeover and take before and after pics. TTFN!
