I have to rant, and since it's about writing, I figured I'd do it here.

I don't remember what sparked my thoughts on this, but they've taken my brain and ran with it, so now I need to get  this out of my system. Just how much I truly and deeply despise the term "soulmate". At least when being used in writing - professional writing especially.
