Waiting For Monday
► Can't say that I'm surprised, but Dean forgot to pick up my parcel at the postal depot. In fact, she forgot to take the notice card with her. She assures me she'll get it after work on Monday. I hope so.
Late last night, around 4:00am, we had a sudden flash storm with thunder, and lightning, and gale strength winds. I had to rush and shut the windows on the far side of the apartment as rain was blowing in sideways. The storm seemed to blow itself out fairly quickly and it was calm within half an hour.
This afternoon another flash wind and thunderstorm hit, and I again had to rush to shut windows. I was home alone when the storm hit, Dean and her boyfriend having left the apartment late in the morning. When the storm had died down the power suddenly cut out at 2:30pm. The power didn't come back on until almost two hours later when I heard Deana park the car in the parking lot and autolock the doors. Just weird timing.
► Another day, and another finished Utopia sketch by artist Michael Powell. This makes sketch number 4 out of 5. I think it's terrific! Michael says he should have the final sketch done by Monday. Monday suddenly looks like a semi-big day for me.

► Poster Revolution: Ecce Homo Botched Restoration Poster - I should have expected this would become a poster, and yet I was surprised.
► SuperHeroHype: Christian Bale Fulfills Sick Child's Wish of Meeting Batman - Apparently the boy has since gone into remission. No word on whether it was a coincidence or if Christian Bale cures cancer.
► How To Be A Dad: Baby Fingernails & Other Deadly Edged Weapons - It's funny because it's true.
