Gonna Stay In
► I was supposed to go out with Dad tomorrow for our weekly "get Derek out of the apartment and pick up groceries" get together. Dad called me earlier this evening and said he was going to be going to my grandmother's early in the morning and paint the front deck at her house, and would pick me up in the afternoon. I said that was fine.
I called him back later and asked if we could maybe postpone the outing until Saturday as my nerves have really been bothering me the past couple of days (along with a mild re-occurrence of my vertigo). Truthfully, I don't want to go out at all this week, but I realize I should. Dean actually suggested I just write her a check and she would pick up my groceries for me, but I do think I should make an effort to get out, even if it's just for an hour or two on Saturday. But we'll see.
I just hope Walmart still has the Father's Day DVD sale displays they had last week, and that I can find Harry and the Hendersons again. When I was younger I loved that movie and I haven't seen the DVD anywhere before last week, let alone for $5. I love Bigfoot/Sasquatch stuff.
► When your keyboard gel wrist rest now has 4 pieces of duct tape holding it together, and the previously small hole is now a 2 inch gash with mushrooming gel, it might be time to replace it. Course, it'll have to wait until I have enough money.
Not only is my computer starting to die, so are all the accessories. Go figure.
► The Onion Radio News: New Movie From Pixar Will Totally Fuck With Kids' Minds - As if they haven't already with the opening sequences of Finding Nemo and Up.
► StarshipModeler.co: Enterprise C Coffee Table - While I'm not sure if I'd want this in a house of my own, it is pretty cool.
► 9gag: Batman vs. Iron Man - Classic.
► 9gag: The best Vaseline ad so far - Uh, ouch. I actually find this disturbing and not amusing (or tantalizing).
► FUNNY CRAIGSLIST ADS: Selection of the Funniest Craigslist Ads & Listings - There are demented people online, and they're on Craigslist.
► Dina Goldstein's: In The Dollhouse - A photoshoot/photo set depicting Barbie and Ken's marriage "in real life". I can't decide if this is simply silly and funny or blatantly homophobic.
► Super Mario Has Gone Mad - Hahahahaha, oh, wow.
