Hair Today...
► I really need a haircut. It's been over three months since I last cut my hair, and by god it's an unruly mess now. The best I can describe it is Han Solo in the original Star Wars film crossed with that yack-hair wig Lou Ferrigno wore in the Incredible Hulk TV series. Yeah... not good.
I've cut my own hair for the past 8 or 9 years as I have my own hair clipper set. Usually I drag out cutting my hair because it's messy and awkward. Also, since I ran out of the oil for the electric clipper's blades, I have to let my hair get greasy over several days without washing in order to be able to cut it. That in itself is gross.
This morning I was planning to cut my hair, but ended up just jumping in the shower and getting dressed as I thought UPS was delivering a package today (they didn't), so I didn't want to answer the door naked with a half shorn head. This means I have to wait a few more days before I can try to cut it again. It really needs it.
► Getting antsy about Dean again. She's been a bit "off" and missed work from Tuesday through Friday of last week, and missed today. Just when she was finally gaining some momentum and getting better too.
► Secret door inside this wardrobe leads to a Narnia-themed playroom - I was thinking this was pretty clever and fun until I say this comment below the article:"Secret windowless playroom.. I can't be the only one finding this a bit creepy?"
Way to put a damper on the fun, buddy.
► 'Mad Men's January Jones 'ate her own placenta after birth of son' - From the article:"It's something I was very hesitant about, but we're the only mammals who don't ingest our own placentas," she added.
A lot of mammals eat their own poo. That doesn't mean we should too.
► Racist Hunger Games Fans Are Very Disappointed - Let's all be shocked together.
► Simply Superheroes: Superman Socks With Capes - I can't decide if the little capes are ingenious or overkill.
► Kyle Lambert: Toy Shining (iPad Paintings) - Okay, this I love.
► Facebook: Celebrities That Look Like Mattresses - So much plaid... I'm having Junior High flashbacks.
► DOCTOR WHO New Season 2012 Teaser Trailer (Season 7) - The new season looks great, but my god are they ever aggressively going after the American audience now (big high profile American filmed episodes last year and again this year?). And was that Michael Shanks? If so, win! Edit: Scratch that, it's Ben Browder.
Still can't help but wish they'd do an episode set in Canada. Canadian funding (from CBC) did help the 2005 Doctor Who revival. You know, Canada had an Old West with cowboys too.
