Me No Go
► Called Dad and told him that I can't go out tomorrow because of my nerves and stomach.* Dean's going for groceries tomorrow after work so she said she'd pick up a loaf of bread and a package of bologna for me. Those are the 2 grocery items I most needed to pick up if I was going out so that's fine.
Some weeks it's just harder to get out of the apartment than usual.
* That I've barely slept all week hasn't helped matters.
► One less thing to worry about! My Barbara Broadcast DVD (1977 porn movie starring Annette Haven) finally arrived in the mail today.
I bought it on October 30th at the same time that I bought Phantom of the Paradise from a different seller on Ebay. Both DVDs shipped 3 days later, and I received Phantom on Wednesday, November the 9th. That same day I got a message on Ebay from the seller I bought Barbara Broadcast from, asking if I had received it yet. I sent him a message this afternoon letting him know I finally got the DVD, and I also left positive feedback. It's bizarre to me that it took another week for similarly packaged DVD to arrive when both were shipped at the same time.
It's moot, though, since it's now here.
► 100 Things You Didn't Know About Lord of the Rings - I'm not sure about "100", but I didn't know most of these. Reading the trivia is making me long to re-watch my Lord of the Rings Extended cut DVD sets.
► MIRROR MIRROR doesn't look the fairest in the land... - Uh... no. No thank you. It really looks like they were trying for The Princess Bride style magic and irreverence, but this really just looks like over-baked Hollywood "movie by committee" garbage. Camp to a fault, with anachronistic attitude and sass ("You go, girl!").
It's mind boggling how much better the Kristen Stewart starring Snow White and the Huntsman looks. Mirror Mirror looks like a Disney made TV movie. Of course, these opinions are based on the trailers, so who knows.
